Jacqui Bensemann is an accomplished business executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in New Zealand’s construction and fire protection industry. As Managing Director of Argus Fire Protection, she has transformed the company into a leading industry brand with an annual turnover exceeding $100 million, overseeing up to 400 staff and managing projects valued at over $10 million.
Her expertise spans financial management, strategic planning, ESG initiatives, and business development. Under her leadership, Argus Fire Protection has successfully tendered for major commercial and publicly funded developments throughout New Zealand. Jacqui has also developed a complementary importing business, bringing innovative building technology to the New Zealand market.
Beyond her corporate achievements, Jacqui is deeply committed to industry leadership and community service. She has held numerous governance roles, including President of the Specialist Trade Contractors Federation, Board Member of the Fire Protection Association of New Zealand, and Trustee of the Fire Protection Charitable Trust. Her community involvement extends to Rotary, where she served as President of the Rotary Club of Auckland and chaired the Centenary Project for Rotary in Australasia.
